Bookless Library In Texas Aims To ‘Break Down The Barriers To Reading’

The person in this interview mentions how unlike the paper library his library with eBooks won’t “wear out”. But I have actually heard people representing publishers talk about how because e-books don’t wear out that is why they limit how many times a book can be checked out by patrons, forcing libraries to purchase them all over again, basically reproducing the “wearing out” that you would get with physical books. Sigh. (The “sigh” is not in regards to what the guy in to interview said, but in regards to the whole idea that publishers think they have to reproduce the wearing out of books because they’re so freaking money hungry.)
