iOS 7 weirdness. Why is mars hill network showing up when I search for other things?

Anyone else w/ an ios 7 device notice this?

Wanna hear something weird? Last night when I had a student at the library and I was showing her how to run a search in the app store by tapping in the search box and then using voice dictation to search for whatever she wanted, we were using her iPhone 5. After she said the words she wanted to and then hit “done”, for a brief moment it said “the Mars Hill network”. She said “What does that mean?” And I said “It’s probably something that somebody searched for previously on your phone“. But she seemed to not think that anybody had.

But I just now went to the App Store on MY phone (same OS, different phone, different phone model, different carrier, different wifi network) and went to the search box and used voice dictation to run a search for something and I saw the same thing!

This doesn’t happen on my iPad which is still iOS 6. But it does happen on my iPhone 4s which is iOS 7.

I found the new Siri voice on iOS7 to sound muffled, but I fixed it.

I found the new Siri voice on iOS7 to sound muffled.
So I googled it, and apparently if you plug your phone in, and then follow these directions, it will download a better voice for Siri:

“For those of you all that aren’t getting the High quality Siri automatically, go to Settings > General > Accessibility > VoiceOver > Languages and Dialects
Pick US
And then flip the switch saying enhanced quality.”
(found on the MacRumors forum, user “dmahen”.)

In my case, I’m not sure it’s working, it’ll download, then turn “Enhanced Quality” back off by itself, then I have to turn it back on and re-download, and I’ve done this like five times so far. OK, NOW IT WORKS! Yay!
